Typinator 3.1 Update Adds Built-in HTML Snippets

Ergonis Software has updated its auto-typing utility, Typinator to add built-in HTML snippets and with other enhancements.
Typinator 3.1 integrates the recently released HTML snippets set, providing more than 100 abbreviations for HTML 4.01 standard. Users can type a double less-than sign (<<) followed by the name of a desired HTML element, and Typinator inserts the corresponding HTML code.
The 3.1 update also aims to improve compatibility with applications like Coda, VMware Fusion, Butler, Zend Studio, and others. Typinator 3.1 also introduces a newly designed menu bar icon that better matches the style of Apple's menu extras; the menu bar icon can also be turned off.
Typinator detects specific sequences of characters and automatically replaces them with text snippets, graphics, URLs, dates, and other characters. The latest version runs on OS X 10.4 or later, though Leopard is recommended.
For users who bought Typinator in the last two years, the 3.1 update is free. Typinator costs €19.99, or about US$38.
