Video tutorial specialist MacProVideo released two new tutorial lessons. One lesson is for users of Apple's photography workflow application Aperture 2 and the other deals with Mac OS X Leopard security.
"Aperture 2 101: Core Aperture 2" includes a detailed exploration of how Aperture's database works. You will also see how to import and organize your photos, create albums, and build previews of your images. This video then explores Aperture's image processing tools.
At five hours long the Aperture tutorial costs US$49.50 and is available for download.
The second tutorial, "Mac OS 105: Securing Your Mac," will teach you techniques for keeping your files -- and your computer -- safe and secure. This tutorial starts off with some theory on keeping your computer secure and then puts the theories to work.
The video will show you how to safely share files and set file permissions, how to properly create user and guest user accounts, the ins and outs of file encryption, using your keychain to protect and modify passwords, and how to use Time Machine to back up your important files and documents.
This tutorial is available for download and is priced at $19.50.
