Edgerift is done with beta-testing for its RiftVault security software for Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard." The software is now available and costs $39.95.
RiftVault features a visual interface. RiftVault secures credit card numbers, documents and other data using 256-bit AES encryption combined with SHA-256 hashing. The software uses a visual inspector that lets you incorporate graphics like credit card designs. It also features a drag-and-drop system that lets you add documents you want to keep confidential.
System requirements call for a G4/867MHz or faster, Mac OS X 10.5 or later, 512MB RAM and 7.8MB hard disk space.
