    Strengths: enables u to repatition your hdd-autodetects everything-no need worry about viruses -more stable than windows lol

    Weaknesses:Can't think of any. Like all Linux distros they all have their own particular feel. SUSE 'feels' great.

    Overall Evaluation: Pros: + Complete Office * substitute and more... in particular, no student could need any more. + Complete internet and networking plus supports interfacing with MS and Apple's stuff... + Complete amd multiple desktop environments ... + Games out the ying-yang ... 2D and 3D for young kids and old kids; Quake/UT/others all run FAST, very FAST. + Complete graphics... somewhat dependent on video card(nVidia drivers rock...) + Complete choice on looks -YOU choose how the desktop looks, not some pinhead geek in Redmond. + Educational software for the youngsters... + Complete programming tools... GCC is the best(well, almost:) + Complete freedom to choose what you what to do and how - and you never have to call Bill to see if it is okay. Reinstall anytime you feel like it. + Complete version upgrades for free... + MultiMedia(DVD, mp3, etc.) support ... + 32-bit and 64-bit: YOUR choice but even 32-bit rpograms run with the 64-bit OS! + Firefox + GIMP + OSS + sensors/hardware monit
