Duration of ownership: 3 Weeks
Strengths: Absolutely beautiful, fast response time, very sharp.
Weaknesses:View from above angle not good like when standing up from the monitor (though I'm not sure this angle is even accounted for by monitor manufacturers)
Overall Evaluation: This is the most beautiful screen I've ever seen, the digital quality is amazing - I saw a 10X improvement in picture quality, sharpness, and brightness over my old analogue tube monitor. Definitely a great buy. When I first looked at my digital pictures that I've seen a thousand times on my old monitor and my mother's flat screen I could not believe the difference that this digital flat panel made, they looked amazing. The response time is excellent too (I believe 12ms) - I play graphics-intense video games and see no ghost images.

Strengths: Low refresh rate of 12ms, DVI, good software, low power consumption
Weaknesses:Had to play with color to get it to exactly where i wanted can't use the auto configure with DVI only analog.. but oh well i got it to where it needs to be the software is helpful
Overall Evaluation: A really good buy for a 17" monitor and great gaming features like DVI, and 12ms compared to any other 17" out there! Improved webpage browsing, picture editing, and movie editing... I would deff. recommed this one for anyone!

Strengths: Thin. Great color. Great price. DVI cable included. Able to abjust screen to different angles.
Weaknesses:none
Overall Evaluation: I'm not going to bore you with all of the specs on this monitor. If you're looking at the reviews, I'm sure you have examined these quite closely by now. I was a little disappointed when I first set this monitor up. I thought I had a dead pixel at first, but I used the monitor for a few days, the pixel flickered for a couple of hours, and then was gone! Very easy to set up. Colors are great. No ghosting. Pretty sturdy. Compact. This is my second Samsung LCD monitor, and I am very impressed with their quality. This second purchase has made my mind up to only buy Samsung screens. This is a very affordable screen without lacking quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market.

Strengths: excellent picture quality, easy to adjust the monitor stand and menu
Weaknesses:not found yet
Overall Evaluation: This is the second monitor I bought. Compared to Sony LCD, this is an excellent product for such price. I like the brightness and clarity of this monitor. It won't hurt my eyes even after I used it for a long time.

Strengths: Dual Analog/Digital signal inputs, 4-preset contrast/brightness toggle button on monitor, Excellent picture quality, 16.7 Million true 24-bit colors (no dithering) and a 12ms response time!
Weaknesses:Monitor stand is very easy to adjust, but vibrates slightly while typing. Natural Color and Magic Tune software included, initially great, then became useless and irritatiing (so I removed them).
Overall Evaluation: This is an outstanding monitor, a lesser known but feature-packed alternative to the pricey 173P. It has everything that you might want in a quality flat-screen: easy adjustability, unbelievably wide viewing angle, vivid colors on a bright screen, analog and DVI inputs (with cables!), easy to use on-screen controls, 4-setting preset toggle for easy adjustment without having to negotiate software, source button for toggling between simultaneous inputs (i.e. two PC's connected to the same monitor), and fast 12ms response time. Note: the refresh rate at the reccomended resolution (1280 x 1024) is 75Hz in analog, but only 60Hz in digital mode. You should use a flat screen in its native resolution, but this monitor seems to handle lesser resolutions quite well for applications and RPG's(though I wouldn't watch a DVD on it in 1024 x 768!). Also the picture is incorrect! It actually has a triangular base, which looks and works much better than the style pictured.
