    Duration of ownership: 3 Months

    Strengths: Affordable basic PC, 160GB HD, DVD+/-RW!

    Weaknesses:VISTA basic, 512MB ddr2 ram.

    Overall Evaluation: For a basic PC this is pretty solid. Vista + 512MB Ram equals SLOW so you must add at least 1-2GB of ddr2 ram. Once you do this it's a pretty good PC that can handle any basic task, internet, office documents, watch movies (burn movies too :). Comes with a DVD burner which was a surprise for a $200 PC (when on sale). If you need to purchase a pc for you or someone that will be used for basic applications then this is a great buy.

    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Budget price. Relatively quite. Minitower doesn't take up much space.

    Weaknesses:Ram, Onboard Video, Sound, Scrollball mouse and 56K modem card.

    Overall Evaluation: I got this PC for $140 after rebate. It is quiet and works for my needs to manage documents and handle internet. 512mb is definitely not enough to run Vista smoothly so I upgraded to 1.5Gb. The onboard video card is really weak, and it takes forever to load some images. If you want to use this computer to play games, you have to get a video card upgrade. Integrated soundcard is quite mediocre. Some of the things that come with the computer is sadly outdated, e.g. a 56K modem card and scrollball mouse. All in all a good budget PC.

    Overall Evaluation: At this price level this PC is wonderful. It is enough for everyday office work and surfing the internet. All you need is to find a decent monitor. Highly recommend this machine for budget.

    Strengths: Cheap.

    Weaknesses:Graphic card. 512MB RAM.

    Overall Evaluation: My satisfaction comes from what I paid for this PC, not from its spec. I bought this basic PC for less than $250. I can't complain about it, but this model does have some weaknesses. Hard drive capacity and DVD burner are OK, but its poor integrated graphic card and scanty 512MB main RAM definitely need upgrade if you wanna continue to use windows Vista. Even the integraed graphic card takes some portion of main memory, so that it was pain to run Vista. Good news is the hard drive is 160GB, though the package says it's 120GB.

    Strengths: You can find good price when there is a deal. Enough for everyday office work and your entertainment

    Weaknesses:integrated graphic card, relatively slow CPU, and I don't like Vista runs on 512MB memory. but you can upgrade them at small costs

    Overall Evaluation: This is a great system for the price!It locked up on me a couple times in my first day, but after deleting a few unneeded programs, it started working fine.Aero looks great, but the integrated graphics is alright, if you don't mind playing games like solitaire.
