Strengths: - Netgear reliability- Strong Small case made of solid metal- A true HUB
Weaknesses:- None.
Overall Evaluation: I bought this Netgear Hub in order to be able to troubleshoot network problems. Troubleshooting network problems through packet capture appplications like WireShark requires a true hub that will not alter packages. This Netgear Hub is one of the few products out there that is a true HUB. Other products in the market alter packages and are therefore useless for this purpose. I used this product while troubleshooting a VPN router from Liksys that wasn't working, but which they insisted was working perfectly OK. Only after working side by side with a Cisco technical support specialist and doing package capture with Wireshark and THIS Netgear Hub were we able to confirm that their VPN router was defective.

Strengths: Compact, rugged appearance
Weaknesses:None thus far.
Overall Evaluation: Netgear EN104TP Ethernet Hub is a compact, rugged-looking product. I bought the product after comparing various products on PriceGrabber.com. I was somewhat familiar with this product from the office. It was simple to install and use. Cost was also reasonable. My only complaint was that the instructions were all in French, but this proved to be not an issue because the product was relatively easy to install and use.

Strengths: Rugged design, compact size, and low cost, works as advertized!
Weaknesses:Non that I can see so far.
Overall Evaluation: More and more as I use Netgear equipment, I find myself quite happy with my experience. This 4 port hub is no different! It has a rugged and sturdy design accompanied by its compact size. Hookup couldn't be simpler. Whether you are IT Professional, geek, or newbie, you won't have any problem getting this little jewel to work. When you factor in its low cost, its easy to see that this hub is the perfect choice for both tight quarters as well as tight budgets!

Strengths: size, long warranty, rugged design
Weaknesses:none
Overall Evaluation: Works exactly as advertised. I really like the compact size (I keep it with my PowerBook so I can use it in locations where there's no wireless access and existing ethernet ports are all filled). On the other hand, I also gotta lug the somewhat weighty AC brick (suppose there's no way around that) so the total package one has to carry isn't so lightweight. But it's still the best small-case 10BT hub out there I could find.
