    Strengths: backup all important data for your computer

    Weaknesses:none

    Overall Evaluation: I am very pleased with this software. It did a very good job backing up all my data when my computer went crashed. It did even back up all my emails, family pictures, and family videos. Even better, you can schedule system backups on a regular basis.

    Strengths: Backs up files faster than Ghost while requires less disk space; easier to use than Ghost; includes systems clean up wizard; compatible with Windows Vista, XP and 2000

    Weaknesses:Not yet as popular as Ghost.

    Overall Evaluation: After having used Ghost for many years, I tried the Acronis True Image 11 Home and love it. It is much easier to use while does not have any problem with reading and writing to certain types of disks. I like its speed in backing up files, data, applications, OS or the entire PC system, and the resulting backup files are much smaller than those created by Ghost. Copying an entire disk to another disk of different size is a quite simple and problem free with Acronis. That makes the task of upgrading the booting hard drives on my PC systems less challenging. It also has some security and privacy tools built in so that you could safely destroy sensitive data and clean up your PC system. I highly recommend it.

    Strengths: Complete imaging and back-up software

    Weaknesses:None yet

    Overall Evaluation: Great for constructing a complete image of your hard drive or backing up select files or folders. GUI is very nice and intuitive to use. Complete help documentation is provided within the software. Remember, if you have system problems, creating an IMAGE will transfer the problems to a new or clean drive. It is best to backup files a restore them than transfer an image.

    Overall Evaluation: It is a very efficient software that provides entire system backup. The user interface is pretty friendly, so it is very easy to use that. It's extremely useful when you want to install multiple machines with the same configurations. It also provider very powrful functions on the disk operation such as formate, delete and so on.

    Strengths: Excellent Drive Image Tool; works with plug-in drives

    Weaknesses:Doesn't work from Windows

    Overall Evaluation: I have always used Norton Ghost for drive imaging, but decided to give this one a try as an alternative. Thus far, I am very much impressed...WHEN YOU USE IT FROM DOS MODE!! Don't bother installing it on your Vista system if you only intend to use the drive imaging functions. If you intend to use the backup utilities (which I don't use), then you will need to install it.I would initiate a drive image from within windows, the computer would reboot, then the drive image function would start up. It would finish in about 2-seconds, indicating that everything went okay. Of course, nothing was actually done, and it didn't tell you this! However, if you insert theh disc into your CD/DVD drive and boot from you, you can perform drive images w/out issues. It worked perfectly, and the GUI is extremely intuitive. It also worked with a variety of USB/eSATA plug-in drives.
