    Duration of ownership: 30 Days

    Strengths: Tons of feature, very reliable, strong wireless coverage.

    Weaknesses:The attenna can be easily broken, just be gentle. I already had 2 attennas broken so far. However, no impact to wireless.There is no GUI, but should be no problem for technical savy people.

    Overall Evaluation: I bought 8 of these and have been using 4 so far, at some of my small business locations. This box rocks! Make sure to download the latest firmware (nl851r4.bin) from www.netopia.com. I used the tftp to download the nl851r4.bin firmware, which worked perfect. Highly recommended!

    Duration of ownership: 2 Days

    Strengths: True Enteprise Class features. Multiple VPN's, QOS, DiffServ, Vlans, 802.1x, SNMP , the list is too long for a short review. Excellent choice for remote/home office.

    Weaknesses:Documentation that ships with the unit is a little sparse.

    Overall Evaluation: This is truely a great product for the home office or branch office. It's ability to maintain multiple _simultaneous_ VPN's is priceless. It was a snap to get online with this router, and, setting up the VPN tunnels and QOS was a matter of getting the right information in the right place and telling the router to reboot to affect the changes. An impressive list of available features in a router priced in a range competitive with the consumer offerings from such manufacturers as dlink/linksys/netgear. Make no mistake this is an enterprise class list of features and you must know what you are doing to take full advantages of them. No wizards or web pages here, but, if you need powerfull layer three capabilities with the speed and functionality you would expect from much more expensive devices this is the one.Would I by another one? I already have, for another of our network engineers. Ordered it today from Provantage. (they get a 5 Star Rating, TOO!!!)
