Strengths: WGR614L is really good. I have tried the dd-wrt firmware on this hardware. It's cool.... I got the DD-WRT simplicity with no extra cost
Weaknesses: There are some known in the tomato/dd-wrt firmwares.
Overall Evaluation: Most of the useful features are implemented in both the Tomato and dd-wrt firmwares. There are some known issues - hope a bug fix release will also be available soon

Strengths: Ease of Setup, Security, Pain-less Wireless WPS PIN, Vista Compatible, Open Source Fimrware, DD-WRT and Tomato Support
Weaknesses: Mostly closed source user space, DD-WRT and Tomato support almost complete - but not yet stable.
Overall Evaluation: Overall a great route with decent hardware at this price range. The hardware specs beats the WRT54GL hands down. If you are looking for Open Source compatible router this router is definitely the best choice at this point for the price. But even for people averse to flashing or hacking the router this is a good router with the Smart Wizart and WPS support. You must use the WPS support that enables the WPA2 security without almost any configuration at the access point or your wireless card. And particulary useful with vista loaded PCs. one of the few routers that are compatible with vista.
